Great for layout customisation

Any of our websites, whether they are simple information sites, or focus on ecommerce, can be built with modular layouts as a core requirement. Where possible, all our sites are made with some degree of modularity - for example creating one page layout which can be used thousands of times. However, depending on your needs, we can build a website to use more or less of this modular approach.

One core example of this, is using various blocks to build each page of the website from. Once a block is built, they can then be reused throughout the website on numerous pages, providing a huge amount of flexibility, and allowing websites to remain fresh and updated without developer involvement.

Block based modular design

Block based design is used on this website to provide flexibility to its content, although we can also limit which types of blocks are used on which types of pages too, which can help guide content editors to use optimal modules.

A safe environment to experiment

When dealing with modular layouts, it is of course necessary to experiment with content to find what best works at any given time. It would be hardly ideal to do this on a live site, so as standard with every website, we will also host a staging environment, which is designed for both you and us to test and experiment with features in order to make sure everyone is happy with them prior to launch.

The staging version of the website can also be used to prepare content for the live site accessible only to people with a login, allowing multiple people to contribute and evaluate changes in a safe and secure space.
